Passion for Promarkers Come Fly with Me

Just where the last week went I do not know! But went it has which means it's time for a new challenge over at Passion for Promarkers where our lovely Marie is asking you to Come Fly with Me, so use anything that can fly on your cards.  I've used this little flying cutie, Baby Fairy Ladybug from Mo's Digital Pencil.
I've teamed her up with a fab poppy stamp from Marianne Designs, called Butterflies and Poppies, and in stock here at Maddylisa Crafts.
My papers are from Teresa Collins, the pansy border is a Martha Stewart border and corner punch combo, and my full list of Marianne Design products are listed below:

Butterflies and Poppies clear stamp set - Catalogue No: CS0927
Leaves from Design Folder and Die set DF3414
Tiny's Grass Border - LR0360

I picked the little wooden ladybirds up from Home Bargains at Easter, and the remaining flowers, ribbon etc are from my stash.
Glad you managed to make it all the way here to the bottom, I hope you'll find some time this week to play along with us.  We have a fab prize too, of a $12 voucher for the lucky winner to spend at a Day for Daisies,

And don't forget to check out the wonderful makes of my PFP teamies here.

It's Christmas in May at Mo's Dream Team - come join in our hop!

It may seem early to be making Christmas cards but never too early, right? And anyway, we had hail stones up here in Cumbria yesterday, so I think we can get away with it!!
So, this month's blog hop theme has been chosen by our gorgeous Heidy - and hopefully this is where you started hopping from! Otherwise, you should have hopped to me from our lovely Gretha's blog where I just know she shared something wonderful with you!  The full order of the hop is below should you get lost along the way.

I love Mo's Valerie series of images, and I especially love her winter/Christmas versions so the one I've used is Valerie with Snowman from the brilliant set  of three images,  Valerie in Winter.
I've coloured her with my Pro and Flex markers and then used some fab Scrapberry Winter Joy papers.
And then came the dies - lots of scrummy Marianne Dies of course, as follows:
Image cut with largest die from Large Ovals by Anja set - LR0236
Snowman - LR0246
Holly Branches - LR0244
Poinsettia Flower - LR0121 and LR0122
Large Snowflake - LR0185
Small Snowflakes -  from set CR1252
Your next stop on the Hop is over to our lovely Debby, with another wonderful Christmas make.
I hope you're enjoying our hop and thank you for stopping by -oooh and don't forget to leave a comment on each blog on the hop as there are two $5 dollar vouchers hidden somewhere along the way and one could be yours!!

Passion for Promarkers Blues and Purples

Our daughters visited us at the weekend to celebrate Holly's birthday later this week.  I made this card because she loves purples and then discovered that the colour theme fitted perfectly with this week's Passion for Promarkers colour challenge - lucky that as I'd run out of time to make my DT card!  (I think I must have know subconsciously.)  This is the colour palette below as chosen by our wonderful Lou!
Lou's colour challenge week 296
My image is an oldie from my  Sugar Nellie stash, and a delight to colour.
Behind the image, I've use a heart die combo from Marianne Designs - CR1225.
I added some Spellbinders curved edged borders and sentiments cut with dies from Paper Trey Ink. The large flowers were  from best matey, Lesley, and the rest from stash.
Our fab sponsors for this week's challenge are Bugaboo Stamps who are offering our lucky winner a $21 voucher to spend with them!

Mo's My Tamborine

This is the first of two posts today - the other being for my DT post at a Passion for Promarkers.
However, this one is for Mo's Dream Team and the little guy in the frame is My Tamborine from Mo's Digital Pencil here.
I wanted to do a CAS card with very little paper but just couldn't manage it so went with bold, earthy colours instead using my Promarkers and papers from Crate Paper.
The sentiment is, I think, Inkadinkadoo, and seemed a perfect match.
The day is nearly gone here but enjoy the rest of yours whatever you have planned.

Lavinia Stamps card

I decided to get my Lavinia Stamps out a few days ago, to make a new home card for DD2, Emily, as she settles into her new digs in London.  So proud of her, she's just got into Camberwell school of Arts starting in September and landed a job at Dulwich Picture Gallery so she couldn't be happier.
I think she must be enchanted at the minute, and it's been wonderful to have her, and DD1, Holly and BF, up here for the weekend to celebrate Holly's birthday this week!  They've gone off for a walk and left old hop-a-long here to catch up with a few things!  Going to miss them when they leave later today  :(
Enjoy the rest of your weekends whatever you're doing.
Hugs, Juliexxx

Mo's Peggy

I'm still rather immobilised with my foot and it's driving me potty.  I can do quite a lot but everything I read tells you to keep it non weight bearing for as long as possible, so card making it was!  This is a fabulous new image from Mo's Digital Pencil called Peggy and you can find her here. I think she's a new favourite with a great many crafters, including me, as I've seen a lot of gorgeous makes with her out there in blogland!  I've teamed her up with some fab My Minds Eye papers and some equally fab Marianne Die, and a design folder, as below:
LR0116 -  Frame and Flourish set- I used the flourishes
LR0235 - Small Ovals by Petra
LR0249 - Tiny's Flower 2
LR0351 - Petra's Birds (Frame and birds)
DF3401 - Flowers embossing folder (almost hidden beneath my flowers!)
The tiny, shiny gems are also from Marianne.
I got the Shabby Pink Frantage out and added some flowers, and vintage lace from my stash.
Right, I'm going to sit in the garden for a bit now - I'm busy doing nothing, as the song goes!!
Enjoy the rest of your Bank Holiday Monday here in the UK!!
Hugs, Juliexx
