Violet modelling her new jumper

Not a card today but sharing our Violet in best modelling 'looking far away into the distance' pose.  I've just finished knitting the jumper that was meant to be for Christmas - good job it's still pretty darn cold up here!

Passion for Promarkers Add an Embellishment

Today's card is for our new challenge over at Passion for Promarkers with a great theme for me - Add an Embellishment- I do love and embellishment!!

My image is called Dragon Hugs, from Mo's Digital Pencil of course! I needed to make more boy cards but there is also a female version here!
My embellies are the cardboard shield, some metal studs, the mdf knight and the old button with shields on it!

The sentiment is a die from Frantic Stamper.

We're being sponsored by Digi Stamp Boutique for this challenge and they're giving a £10 voucher to the lucky winner.

I do hope we'll see your entry in the challenge!

Mo's Gothic Fae

I loved colouring this image from Mo - Gothic Fae - she's got a little 'tude don't you think!

When I was down in Guildford a few weeks ago, best matey, Lesley, was playing about with my stunning new Apple Blossom extra deep embossing folder from Marianne.  She inked the folder before running it through her die machine - it looked fabulous and a nice way to give a bit of colour to the embossed panel.  I didn't do quite so well getting a smooth covering of ink but I still like the  shabby chic type effect. A full list of Marianne goodies used is below:

Classic Border Die - LR0455
Petra's Flower Bowl Die - LR0436
Rose Die - LR0451
Appleblossom Deep Embossing Folder - DF3446 - NEW!

I'm getting over a cold here - nothing too awful but I'll be glad when it's done!  There's a lot about I think.

French Maid

I "maid" this card for Nick's Uncle Ray who apparently recently hosted a dinner party dressed as a Jam Tart - the theme for the evening was puddings!!  So I thought this image would be perfect for his birthday card - sadly I don't know who it's by as I borrowed the stamp from a friend.

Of course the sentiment was word processed and there is a full list of Marianne goodies below - note to self - why didn't I use the new Plush Curtain and Pelmet die set from Marianne LR0502 for the curtain like shapes at the sides instead of the wavy border die?!!  Still, good to know that sometimes, you don't need everything and can multi-utilise a lot of our stash!!

Marianne Products Used

Papers - Do What You Love - PK9149
and Celebrations - PK9131
Wavy Border Die - CR1361
Lace Frame Die - CR1202
Rosette - COL1444 - New

The Happy Birthday is Lili of The Valley - such a great go to set!

I have a horrible cold at the minute but the sun is shining here and Violet is due soonish, so hopefully will get out for a short walk later.

Enjoy your day - the weekend is nigh!

Mo's Digital Pencil Bee Mine

As soon as I saw Bee Mine in Mo's store, I knew it was a must have!  I think a lot of the girls on Mo's  Dream Team and other card makers felt the same - I've seen some gorgeous cards out there.

Below is the front of my card using an Intricut Bee die from Hobbycrafts, a chicken wire die from Marianne (honeycomb here of course) and a word-processed sentiment.
It then opens up to reveal the scene inside using the yummy Bee Mine

Marianne Products Used

Papers- Crafty Patterns PB7074 - New February 18 release
Papers - Canadian Fall PK9138
Papers - Just for Men - PK9129

Tree Die - COL1424
Willow Tree Die - LR0429
Grass Dies - CR1335

- and the second half of the sentiment is completed inside.

I must say I do like the daffodil dies from Marianne too,

Hoping to have a good day of crafting here - enjoy your Sunday whatever you're doing.

Passion for Promarkers Photo Inspiration Challenge

It's Tuesday which must mean it's new challenge day over at Passion for Promarkers and we have a great photo challenge which is just yummy, don't you think!  You can take your inspiration from the whole image, eg cupcakes, cooking, or just the colours or one colour or even the spots!!  I've gone with the colours and spots!
Image may contain: flower and food

It's another Valentine's image from Mo but this time one of her new images - and yup, you've guessed it, I love her!!  She's called My Valentine Fairy and can be found here in Mo's store,

I've gone a bit old school with my stash, picking out a  corner punch that is donkeys' years old and also the oval die from Marianne which is an oldie but a goldie!  And, I managed to use the smallest die in the set - I think we often forget about the little dies in sets so I just love these (the little loopy dies either side of the image!).

Marianne Products used

Petra's Ovals Dies- LR0235
Curved Ribbon Border Die - CR1370

Our fabulous sponsor this week is Lacey Sunshine who are offering the lucky winner 3 digi images.
You can see the rest of my teamies' makes here.

A Gorjuss Girl image for a change

I absolutely love all the new craft themed stamps and dies from Marianne Designs February 18 release.  And lucky me, they arrived just in time to complete this card for best matey, Lesley ( but not in time to post it in time for her birthday so I'm hand delivering it!!)
I also decided to use a Gorjuss Girl image which had yet to see the light of day!

A full list of the Marianne goodies used are below- I love the little broken pin stamp and the teeny scissors die!!

We plan on doing just what the sentiment says, along with a little retail therapy at Sandown on Friday - yippee!!

Well that's all from me for now folks, Happy Crafting!!

Marianne Designs January release products

Hello folks - it's my turn to hop on the Marianne Inspiration blog and share my card using mostly some of the gorgeous new Marianne goodies that are in the January 18 release.

It's rather appropriate as I have spent the last few days sorting out my Marianne stuff and cataloguing it so I know what I have!  This includes searching through the internet trying to determine which sets all the loose pieces of design paper I have come from!  I have also purchased some clear insert folders and labeled them with the name and catalogue number of the papers so I can quickly find the details for future posts!!  Sad or what -  hubby certainly thinks so -  but I have enjoyed it and it was long overdue!!
I love these new floral images from the decoupage range, such soft, pretty colours and drawings and so useful when you don't do colouring or don't have time!!

The hydrangea layering stamps (below) were also made for these images!!

For my little sentiment, I carefully inked just the Love and Kisses from a longer sentiment from the new Wedding Sentiments set - always nice to  use your stash outside of the expected.

And here is a complete list of all the Marianne items I used.  I particularly love the large lace panel in the new release!

Lace panel – LR0507 - NEW
Die from Deluxe Design Folder Set – DF3443 - NEW
Partial Sentiment from Wedding Sentiments set – CS0999 -NEW
Circular Frame and Bow Die – CR1414
Tiny’s Layering Hydrangea Stamps – TC0854
Lavender Die – LR0157
Paper – Sweet Romance PK9153 - NEW
Decoupage – MB0170 - NEW

Today, I intend to carry on crafting and make something!

Enjoy your day!

Hugs, Juliexx
